Atari Centipede

In the classic arcade game Atari Centipede, players take on the role of a bugblaster tasked with defending against a variety of creepy crawlies like centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas. Armed with your bugblaster, equipped to shoot small darts, your mission is to survive for as long as possible in this thrilling game. The centipede, made up of 10 to 12 body segments plus a head, is your primary target. Each segment shot transforms into a mushroom, and the remnants continue their descent towards you. It’s crucial to aim for the head as that’s the only way to eliminate the centipede entirely. You can control the bugblaster using either the keyboard or the mouse, directing its movements and aiming to shoot down the advancing centipede.
